Small Business Saturday & COVID-19

Every year we know that right after Thanksgiving is Black Friday, and it’s usually quite the event! I’m sure that things will be very different this year because of covid, as they should. Covid has caused a lot of hiccups in the year, and small businesses are absolutely feeling that. For this reason I’d like to remind everyone that the Saturday after Thanksgiving is Small Business Saturday, and it has been going on for years now. I encourage everyone to do what they can to shop small, and shop local. Your community relies on small businesses to really thrive, and they are in need of your help. This of course includes myself, and for that reason I will have open hours on November 28, 2020 from 11am to 4pm where you can come in and get some holiday shopping done! Don’t feel comfortable coming in? I have an online shop for that very reason! It doesn’t matter whether you shop in person, online, or request curbside pickup–every sale helps keep me here. The same is true for many small businesses out there.

For Small Business Saturday I will be offering a coupon for free cupping with every gift certificate purchase on that day only, for both in-person and online sales. In addition I am debuting some beautiful new items in my shop, so stay tuned for photos of those! I’ll include some so-so mobile images at the end of this just to tantalize your curiosity. These items will include handmade beaded ornaments, earrings, essential oil bracelets, mask chains (because it’s 2020 and those are a thing now), and more! I’ve been hard at work making these items, so I truly hope you love them. And of course my signature aromatherapy candles and bath bombs will be available as well.

To help keep everyone safe I do ask that you follow the current NYS guidelines and wear a mask. It needs to cover your nose and your mouth to be truly effective. If you are medically unable to wear a mask I ask that you call/text in advance so I am aware, please do not just show up out of nowhere. I am also in the medically unable category, but I did find a kind of mask that works for me, at least for a spell. I have hand sanitizer available to patrons as well, and I ask that before handling product you please use some just in case. I hate to be so hyper-vigilant, but I don’t want anyone to take anything home to someone who might be more vulnerable so safety first in this case!

I really hope you decide to come out and shop small this Saturday, or to do so in your PJs online! Your support means the world to small business owners, this is a difference you can make and I hope you choose to do so.

Do you have any experience with Lymphatic massage?

Hi Amanda. I know the absolute basics of lymphatic drainage massage as it pertains to carpal tunnel syndrome, but at this present moment I have not pursed further education in it.
